I posted this poll, because a number of women and I were talking the other day about our cesarean scars. I can’t feel most of the scar, and I have numb spots around the area they cut me. Several others said they had lost partial or all feeling in the area as well. Just curious to see what others had experienced with their cesarean scars.

My scar was very numb and tingly for about the 1st year after my c-section. I got a wierd tingly sensation whenever I or someone else touched it. But its been 2 and 1/2 years now, and I’ve got the feeling back, even right on the scar.

I have semi permenent sutures in my incision and can sometimes feel them pull if I cough or laugh very hard. That has diminished over time.

Cesarean Scars
From my belly button to my pubic bone it is either completely numb or it’s all pins and needles. Sometimes I feel ‘ghost pain’ too.
