I had my son via c-section a year ago yesterday. I was induced at 39 weeks because I was labeled at "high risk" because I had 2 weeks of high blood pressure at 20 weeks. When I went in for the induction I was barely 1 cm. I was given Cervadil for 9 hours then started on Pitocin. The Pitocin was increased throughout the night and the next day and was all the way up to 32 which is the highest they could go. I only went to a 2cm. I was never actually in labor. Contractions would come off and on. If I would move then they would stop. All of this while still on Pitocin. At 4the next day it is decided that I will have a c-section so the pitocin is stopped and my contractions stop as well.
My doctor told me it is illegal to have a vbac in Oklahoma and from everyone I hear from I won’t be able to find anyone who will let me have a VBAC. There isn’t an ICAN chapter in Oklahoma. Can anyone offer advice or help? Thanks!

Regarding OK Vbacs
Hello!
I live in Arkansas and from what I understand about OK, you can have a VBAC and you can even have a home birth vbac which is what I would love to do but it is outlawed in Arkansas. Start asking around or call some OB docs and just ask the nurse if the ob supports vbacs. Good luck I hope you find someone!
