September – VBAC: Fears and Frustrations

Topic: Let’s talk about the fears and emotions that come into play with a planned VBAC. Fear of having another cesarean, fear of uterine rupture, frustrated by the way others respond to our plans, frustrated over being treated differently by providers… These are common themes that come up for women wanting a VBAC. We will have some mamas there to share their experience with VBAC and CBAC, as well as what they did and what you can do to address fears.

What to Bring: As always, ICANoN’s monthly meetings are FREE, but please bring either a box of tissues, toilet paper, or paper towels (to donate to Blooma Nashville Yoga for letting us use their beautiful space) or a gently used pregnancy-related book (to benefit our chapter’s lending library)!

Who Should Come: Anyone interested in healthy pregnancy, birth, and recovery is welcome to attend, including doulas and other birth professionals. **While childcare is not provided, children with quiet toys and babes-in-arms are welcome.**
