The International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) is excited to be hosting the birth conference, “Forging Pathways to Better Birth”, which will feature sessions and events for consumers as well as birth professionals. This conference will have topics promoting cesarean education, support and advocacy. The attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers as well as network with parents, birth professionals, and activists.

Attendance & Audience
The conference will attract attendees from all over the United States. They will range
from professionals in areas such as medicine, nursing, midwifery, counseling, lactation,
childbirth education, labor assistance as well as consumers. We anticipate 200-250 attendees.

Having an exhibit is a great way to gain brand recognition and promote your business to an audience who is pursuing education in evidence based maternity care and natural minded parents. Act fast as we expect the limited booth space to fill quickly. We ask that all exhibitors contribute an item to the silent auction (contact the conference director).
Exhibit Show Hours
Exhibit set-up: Friday, April 8, 2016 8:00am-11:30am
Location: Individual booth location to be determined.
Exhibit hours: The exhibit are will be accessible to all attendees during the conference as well as during the breaks and pre-conference times.
Exhibiting Companies Receive
- over 8 hours of exhibiting time
- 6 foot table and up to two chairs for their 8’X10’ booth space
- listing on the conference website prior to the event
- complimentary business card sized advertisement in the conference manual
Exhibitors desiring a larger ad may pay the difference between a business card sized ad and the preferred size.

by March 15, 2016. Submissions received after March 15th cannot be guaranteed a space in the manual though every effort will be made to include it.

Exhibitor registrations may be canceled in writing up to March 1, 2016 with a $25 administrative fee. After March 1 there will be no refunds or cancellations. Exhibiting of activities or products that are hazardous to the health of pregnant women and/or their babies will NOT be accepted. All exhibitors must comply with WHO recommendations on breastfeeding. Conference organizers reserve the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit which many be deemed inappropriate for the audience; this reservation being all-inclusive as to persons, things, printed matter, products, and conduct. The Exhibits Chair will perform a walk-through of the exhibit area prior to the conference to ensure compliance with the policies.
Regular Pricing (After 12/31/2015)
Sponsorships are an ideal way to promote business awareness and get the most exposure for your products among this highly sought after mixed group of professionals and consumers. Sponsors will receive ads on the ICAN conference website, recognition in the conference manual and additional on-site signage during the event. Once sponsors are confirmed and payment is received they will be listed on the conference website with a link to their organization/business website. Sponsors will provide the logo and wording for the signage of the events they choose to sponsor. Respond early to receive maximum exposure in the months prior to the conference!
Welcome Bag Inserts $150.00
This is a simple but effective way to gain visibility with all attendees. Sponsors will provide the materials (flyers, brochures, business cards, pens, etc) for 250 bags- please provide a sample with the application. Upon approval, the exhibits chair will contact you to coordinate shipping. Inserts must be received no later than March 25, 2016.
General Session Luncheon(2) $2,500.00 (Chose Friday or Saturday)
Sponsor the Friday or Saturday luncheon evening hosting the leaders and representatives from several prominent childbearing organizations. This is a General Session where attendees will enjoy a boxed lunch. Sponsor(s) will receive publicity via a sign at the event, mention in the conference manual, and an announcement at the session opening.
Mom Prom $2,500
Be part of a great event celebrating and bonding mothers. Attendees will dress up and have a blast at this Saturday night event. Sponsors will receive publicity via a sign at the event, mention in the conference manual and an announcement at the beginning of Mom Prom.
Continental Breakfast(2) $1,000
Make your organization’s sign one of the first things conference attendees see in the morning! A sign at breakfast will announce your presence, as well as an announcement at the morning general session. A literature table will be available in the area for placement of company materials that you provide for additional advertisement.

Sponsoring the conference promotional items is another great way to promote your business. Sponsors will receive publicity via a sign at the ICAN Conference Store and a mention in the conference manual.

Conference Manual Advertising
All attendees will receive a conference manual during registration at the beginning of the conference which will contain the agenda as well as a syllabus for the speakers. Extra copies will be available for sale to those unable to attend the conference. This valuable conference resource is sure to be referred to several times during the conference weekend as well as long afterward. All advertisements, except where noted, are black and white.
