Welcome,

to ICAN’s Professional Member Directory. Here you will find a variety of professionals. Some directly birth-related, others may serve those in their childbearing season in ways not acutely birth-related. Then some are businesses that simply align with our mission and want to play a part in changing our birth-culture for the better.

The Funds Generated From Professional Memberships Help To Continue ICAN’s Mission. Anyone Who Supports ICAN’s Mission Is Welcome To Join The Directory: Simply Become A Professional Member Of ICAN.

It is an honor…

I first became involved with ICAN after the birth of my oldest son. I had a traumatic, unplanned cesarean. ICAN was incredibly supportive during my healing process and preparation for the birth of my second son, a homebirth after cesarean. It is an honor to support, educate, and empower people on their own journey.

Father of 3

Being a father of 3 boys, I have seen first hand the lack of care and the lack of information that is available to new mothers. I value the opportunity to educate and empower mothers on the birth process and be a resource for them to achieve the birth that they WANT!

More than one good way…

I believe that each labor and birth is a unique and miraculous experience. I also believe that there is more than one good way to have a baby and that parents should have the proper tools available for informed consent and informed refusal.
